My Story

My name is Jennifer Kuhnle, and I am the proud mother of four beautiful children. My children are my greatest blessing, my inspiration, and the reason my heart was ultimately led to the field of early childhood education. They are my entire world, and through motherhood, I discovered a passion for nurturing, teaching, and helping children grow into confident, successful individuals.

My journey in childcare began in 2007 when my oldest child was just a few months old. At that time, the childcare industry was completely new to me, but from the very first day I stepped into a daycare center, I knew I had found where I was meant to be. What began as a job quickly became a calling. I immediately fell in love with caring for children, helping them learn, and being a positive influence during some of the most important years of their lives. My passion flourished, and I truly felt that God had led me to the place where I was meant to serve.
From the beginning, I knew that if I ever opened my own childcare facility, I wanted to do it the right way. I was determined to gain extensive hands-on experience, further my education, and develop a deep understanding of every aspect of the childcare field before taking that step. My vision was clear: to create a program that offered the highest quality care available while providing children with endless opportunities, resources, and educational experiences that would help them thrive.

As a single mother at the time, I understood that building this dream would require patience, sacrifice, dedication, and perseverance. I devoted years to learning, growing professionally, advancing my education, and establishing the financial foundation necessary to turn my vision into reality. Every step of the journey strengthened my commitment to creating a childcare program that families could trust and children would love.
In 2015, that dream became a reality when I opened my first childcare facility. What has followed has been one of the most rewarding and fulfilling journeys of my life—far greater than I could have ever imagined. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving countless children and families, building lifelong relationships, and watching children grow, learn, and succeed.

In addition to operating my childcare programs, I have been honored to serve on numerous childcare boards and advisory councils throughout the State of Indiana. My service includes participation on Indiana’s childcare legislation board, the SPARK Advisory Council, and serving as Vice Chair of our Regional Advisory Council, among many other leadership roles. These opportunities have allowed me to advocate for children, families, and the continued advancement of quality childcare throughout our state.

I am also the proud holder of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, have completed thousands of hours of professional training across the country, and have pursued extensive college coursework in education and child development. I firmly believe that continuing education is essential in providing the highest standard of care and ensuring that children receive the very best early learning experiences possible.
​
One of my greatest sources of pride is maintaining childcare programs that operate with integrity, professionalism, and complete adherence to all state regulations and licensing requirements. No shortcuts are ever taken. Every policy, procedure, and practice is implemented exactly as it should be because the safety, well-being, and success of every child entrusted to our care is our highest priority.

Jennifer’s Kiddie College has been blessed with numerous achievements, including being voted the #1 childcare facility in Fort Wayne, earning a 5-Star Rating, maintaining a perfect state record, and receiving countless recommendations from satisfied families throughout our community. While these accomplishments are incredibly meaningful, the true measure of our success is the trust that families place in us each day.

Every child and family who has walked through our doors has left a lasting imprint on my heart. It is a privilege to be part of each child’s journey and to support families during such an important stage of life. The relationships we build extend far beyond childcare—they become part of our family story.
